We need to catch up a bit.
In the last month we added the Orbin Optimod sound card into our server which has greatly increased our sound quality.
Yesterday we were published in the Lakewood Observer and we have been amazed at the added listeners in just one day. We Really Appreciate our listeners. Please take the time to read the section to the left about the survey results.

As of today we have 2,941 songs in our play list, almost all of them in stereo.

We have officially launched our new website. We will be adding more features as time goes on. After a great deal of research and frustration, this is also the official "gradual" move away from loudcaster. Please tell your friends to move to this page to find listening links. We won't have the fancy pictures at this time, but that could happen in the future.

Hello everyone, we have just added an experimental live chat area to our website. You will find the link at the top of the page "Live Chat". Please feel free to try it out. All you need to do is enter a name (an email address is optional). Hopefully people will share stories about how the original WIXY fit into their lives etc. All we ask is that you please keep it clean and respect everyone while using the chat. By the way it takes at least two people to chat, so log in and say howdy... if someone is around hopefully they will respond!!! Survey Results
As many of you know we have had a survey on our website asking for your general opinions as to how we can make this station enjoyable to as many people as possible.
For the most part everyone has been very positive and appreciative of our efforts (of course there are always a few of the other types).
Some people want us to play newer music, some want us to only play "exactly" what WIXY would have played. It is obvious we can't satisfy everyone so some time ago we decided to play "mostly" only the songs WIXY would have played with just a few of the newer songs up to 1980 knowing full well that if the station had lived that long, they would have played them. We know for a fact that we play songs that no other radio station in Cleveland plays and to quote a well known DJ from the past "wow, 3000 songs in your playlist, that is more than all the radio stations in Cleveland combined"
We have talked about picking one day a week or portions of certain days to expand the years... If you like that idea or have other positive input,please let us know.

Welcome to the resurrection of a legendary A.M. Top 40 radio station, WIXY-1260! From 1965 to 1976, WIXY was an incredible force in the Cleveland, Ohio radio market, and has never been forgotten!
